After visiting Sonya’s Garden, we arrived at One Destination, a spot in Tagaytay with many affordable restaurants to choose from, located across Magallanes Square. Aside from the convenience of having a Starbucks nearby, we wanted plenty of food options because we were really hungry!

There’s Dencio’s, Teriyaki Boy, Pancake House, and Starbucks — the usual places you’d find in the metro. However, I suggested we eat somewhere we couldn’t find in Manila. So, we dined at Carlo’s Pizza, an Italian casual dining restaurant with 13 outlets in Metro Manila. It was surprising to be dining at a branch far from home. Yay!

Every visitor here can witness the lovely view of Taal Lake. We were euphoric about the mountain scenery from Carlo’s Pizza restaurant and were excited to have our pictures taken with the stunning background. However, our tummies couldn’t wait either. We ordered our food and took photos while waiting.

We ordered a Group Meal – Meal A (good for 3 to 4 persons), which is priced at P625.00. The group meal consists of a Spaghetti with Meat Sauce or Carbonara Platter, a Large Pepperoni or Ham & Pineapple Pizza, and a pitcher of Iced Tea. After the dishes were served, we took more pictures.

Obviously, the ambiance of Carlo’s Pizza restaurant is perfect whether you’re dining al fresco or indoors because the view of Taal is simply breathtaking. There were a lot of foreigners dining there, which isn’t surprising since Tagaytay is popular among tourists. It’s a great place to enjoy good food with a cold beer and relax in the laid-back atmosphere. The staff was friendly, but I felt they were a bit stiff. The food was just average (though their Iced Tea is very good), and the servings were enough to fill us up.
