After Sonya’s Garden, we arrived at One Destination, a place where there are many affordable restaurants in Tagaytay to choose from across Magallanes Square. Aside from the fact that Starbucks is conveniently situated there, we wanted to have many food choices because we were really hungry!
There’s Dencio’s, Teriyaki Boy, Pancake House, and Starbucks—the usual places you’d see in the metro, but I suggested to eat somewhere we couldn’t find in Manila. So, we dined in Carlo’s Pizza. It is an Italian casual dining restaurant which already has 13 outlets in Metro Manila. It was a surprise that I’d be dining in a branch far from home. Yay!
Every visitor here can witness the lovely view of Taal Lake. We were euphoric with the mountain sceneries from Carlo’s Pizza restaurant and we were so excited to have our pictures taken with the great background. However, our tummies couldn’t wait, too. We ordered our food and took photos while waiting.
We ordered a Group Meal – Meal A (good for 3 to 4 persons) is priced at P 625.00. The group meal consists of Spaghetti with Meatsauce or Carbonara Platter, Large Pepperoni or Ham & Pineapple Pizza, and a pitcher of Iced Tea. After the dishes were served, we took more pictures.
Obviously, the ambience of Carlo’s Pizza restaurant is perfect whether you’re dining al fresco or not, because the view of Taal is simply breath-taking. There were a lot of foreigners dining. Well, it’s not a surprise since foreigners frequent Tagaytay. It’s a good place to swill good food with a cold beer and enjoy the laidback atmosphere. The staff was friendly, but I felt that they were a bit stiff. The food is just average (but their Iced Tea is very good, though) and their servings were enough to fill us up.
