Sentosa is a vibrant island resort packed with world-class attractions, beautiful beaches, and thrilling activities for all ages. Whether you’re a local planning a weekend escape or a tourist exploring the Lion City, Sentosa has something unforgettable to offer. In this article, we’ll highlight three must-visit attractions that should be at the top of your itinerary.
Universal Studios Singapore
Located in Resorts World Sentosa, USS is a must-visit theme park packed with thrilling rides, live shows, and movie-themed attractions.
Regular admission
Cost: ₱3,655/ USD 63.57/ SGD 85.82
If you’re on a budget like me, it’s best to visit on a weekday—the queues are much shorter, so you can skip the Express Pass. But if weekends are your only option, I highly recommend getting the Express Pass. I made the mistake of going on a weekend without it, and I only managed to ride two attractions because the lines were insanely long… lesson learned lol.
If you’re planning to ride the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, bring your own poncho or raincoat. Renting one at the park can be pricey. Also, while they do have lockers to keep your stuff dry, you’ll have to pay for those too (yes, even the lockers aren’t free 😅).
And oh, food at USS is expensive! I suggest bringing your own water and just refilling it at the water dispensers inside. That way, you save both money and energy!
Regular admission + Express Pass
Cost: ₱3,655/ USD 63.57/ SGD 85.8 + ₱4,316 / USD 75.07 / SGD 101.34
From what I’ve seen on TikTok, some people finished all the rides in just 3–4 hours thanks to the Express Pass. So if you want to maximize your experience, that extra cost might be worth it!
Sentosa Beach
- Siloso Beach is perfect for those who love energy and excitement. It’s lined with bars, restaurants, and water sports activities like paddleboarding and beach volleyball.
- Palawan Beach is more family-friendly. It features a suspension bridge that leads to a small islet said to be the southernmost point of continental Asia. Great for photo ops!
- Tanjong Beach is the chill zone. It’s quieter and more secluded—ideal for couples or anyone just wanting to lounge with a book and enjoy the view.
Sensoryscape Sentosa
Sensoryscape is located near Universal Studios Singapore, and you can explore the area in about 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your pace.
Sensoryscape Sentosa is a new and free attraction, perfect for an evening stroll. It’s best to visit at night to fully enjoy the beautiful light displays. To make the most of your visit and capture stunning photos, you’ll need to download a dedicated app that enhances the experience.
Don’t miss the Wings of Time Fireworks Symphony—a mesmerizing show featuring laser, fire, water effects, and fireworks. It runs daily at 7:40 PM and 8:40 PM, and it’s absolutely worth staying for! Get a glimpse of Sensoryscape here.
