Lately, I’ve been craving for chicken wings (especially Buffalo’s Wings N’ Things), but I really didn’t have the time to dine there. For one, the branch I know is located at SM North Annex, which is simply too far from MRT North Avenue Station. This is why it was a nice surprise when I got an invite from Kim—on behalf of Open Rice—regarding the food event that was to take place at Buffalo’s Wings N’ Things restaurant in Quezon City, their newest branch. Without any hesitation, I said yes despite my busy schedule.
Below is the photo showing the heat level of their Buffalo wings for your guide:
However, I only got to try their Honey BBQ. Yes, I was playing it safe! It’s has a sweet and sour taste and the level of the spiciness is very bearable!
Here’s the dirty rice if you are really feeling hot… hot mainly from the wings! What’s on top is basically the salsa dipping for the nachos.
The Quesadilla of Buffalo’s Wings N’ Things tastes good as well, but it was a bit thin for me. It would be a good side dish, though.
Meanwhile, the marketing manager—Miss Regine—informed us bloggers that there’s a contest on who’s got what it takes to finish 6 wings of Ultimate Wingsanity! Some of my team mates joined and said that they felt the heat from their throat to their face. They were basically sweating! They cannot endure the heat, so they settled on eating one piece each instead.
Buffalo’s Wings N’ Things feels spacious and it is also well-lit. The price is not bad based on their serving size. One order of chicken wings would make you feel full. I’ve tried dining in a different branch of Buffalo Wings N’ Things before. If I were to compare their service with their Fairview Terraces branch, I’d say that their Fairview Terraces branch has more courteous servers. The dishes here can be really challenging to eat, especially for those who can’t handle the heat.
So, what are you waiting for? Get buffaloed, now!
