Discovered by accident but loved by choice! If you are planning a trip to Subic, you might get confused between Inflatable Island and the Aqua Thrilla Park at Samba. To clarify: Inflatable Island is the massive playground set directly on the sea, while Aqua Thrilla is land-based.

Whether you’re looking for an adrenaline rush or the perfect Instagram backdrop, here is everything you need to know about Inflatable Island Zambales.

What to Expect: Safety and Orientation

Before you hit the water, all participants must attend a 10-minute safety orientation.

Life Jackets: Mandatory for everyone, regardless of swimming ability.

Staff: Professional trainers and lifeguards are stationed at every station to ensure you aren’t left behind (‘di ka nila pababayaan).

As you can see, all participants were provided with life jacket even if the participant knows how to swim.

What You Should Not Miss

If there are two games that should not be missed on Inflatable Island, it’s the Human Launcher. In this game, person A lies on their back at the edge of the inflatable, arms spread and legs closed, while person B jumps from the opposite edge from a 10-ft height (my estimate). Imagine doing this – it’s both a challenge for you and your friend to jump and get launched. In my case, a professional trainer was the one who jumped, and I was the one launched into the sky. Being a professional, his jump was perfect, and so was my launch. I was so high, it was a surreal moment seeing my world twist around – my sky was the sea, and my sea was the sky, and I was rotating in the air. It was so fast that I didn’t notice I had already splashed into the water. They say I landed on my feet, while some of my friends landed on their backs, which hurt a bit. So, what hurt me? My nose. But the staff had warned us beforehand not to cover our noses no matter what happens because we might scar it from the impact. Too bad we didn’t have a waterproof gadget to record the moment. As you can see in the picture below, one person will jump, and the other person is on the edge.

Seriously speaking, the pain quickly subsided, so there’s nothing to worry about. But if you’re concerned about safety, the staff are always there. Di ka nila pababayaan.

The next game worth trying is the Tarzan. Well, you just do it the way Tarzan did. But timing is important. Know when to let go of the swing, or you might get hurt if you fall onto the slide instead of the water.

The slide was also fun especially when you do it altogether!

Inflatable Island Slide

I believe we tried all of it except the Kiddie Slide and Rock Climbing. We weren’t able to try most of the games in Unicorn Island (see photo below) because we ran out of time.

The unicorn lovers will surely not miss to take a photo with Unicorn Island from this resort in Zambales

Suggestion

I suggest you get the 2-hour pass to try all the games on the orange-blue island for one hour and spend another hour on Unicorn Island to take Instagrammable pictures and try the games there as well.

Hope you will enjoy Inflatable Island when you visit. This is surely a recommended resort in Zambales!

When our time was over, we just sat and rested in the Floating Zoo, but not for long since it was starting to get hotter.

Inflatable Island Cottage

Yes, the Pink Bali Lounge is free as long as you have admission to Inflatable Island play, but it is not really recommended if you have packed food and want to eat at a table. So, what we did was get a cottage from Samba Bluewater Resort since they are owned by the same company. We got our cottage for P1,450, with P200 refundable. See more rates here.

We only stayed here briefly to take pictures under the pink and lavender umbrellas, then went to our cottage. Blend in with the colors of cotton candy!
