Sonya’s Garden, Tagaytay (Travel)

There would always be a time in your life when you wake up with a surprise invitation you just can’t say no to. As for me, I was still half asleep when I sluggishly picked up my phone and answered a shocking call. Instances like this can either be good or bad. In my case, however, it was definitely a good one! Last year, I spent my Araw ng Kagitingan at La Mesa Eco Park. This year, I rocked the holiday in Tagaytay. Obviously, this trip is unplanned (yes, that’s the surprise call I was talking about).

Robin, Dionna, Rea and I visited the farthest tourist spot in Tagaytay (coming from Manila). This, my friends, is Sonya’s Garden. Sonya’s Garden opened in 1998. However, don’t let the name fool you into thinking that it’s just a garden. The place has a restaurant, a spa, a panaderia, a store for scents, a service for bed & breakfast, and many more. Surely, this is a good place in Tagaytay for wedding venue.

Anyway, the place welcomed us with lush greenery. This only meant one thing for us—unlimited picture taking.

Aside from the beautiful flowers, Robin saw this odd fruit of some sort, so we messed with it. When we got home, we found out that it’s called ‘titty fruit’. Well, I can’t say I didn’t find this funny. Haha!

Sonya’s Garden Restaurant

Morning Glory, The Conservatory, and The Sunflower are the restaurants you’d find at Sonya’s Garden. Unfortunately, we only found Morning Glory.

You can also check restaurants in Sky Ranch Tagaytay for more selections.

Here is what we saw from a store selling various scents.

Meanwhile, we entered a house full of Parisian-inspired stuff. Everything looks lovely there. I wanted to take home one of the items!

There is also a panaderia where the famous cheese hopia could be found. This bread costs P100.00 per pack, but we did not buy it. We settled on beaming in front of the store. Cray-cray! After that, we went to Carlo’s Pizza to have dinner.

This Tagaytay wedding venue is also known for having delicious breads
