After dining at a restaurant here in BGC, we headed to Bubu Bars, a dessert place. Their products are dairy-free, perfect for people who are lactose intolerant or have sensitive digestion like me.
Menu
Their menu is simple and divided into three categories: drinks, bars, and scoops.
Bubu Dairy-Free Drinks
They use oat milk for their drinks. They offer coffee drinks, non-coffee options, specials, and signature cocktails.

Bubu Dipping Bar
When ordering, the first thing you do is choose your ice cream bar flavor, options include Milky White, Pistachio, Matcha, Nocciola, and more. I chose Matcha.
Next, you pick your chocolate dip. I went for 55%, while my friends chose 64%. Remember: the higher the percentage, the darker and more bitter the chocolate flavor.
Finally, you select your toppings; they have Cookies and Cream and different kinds of nuts. I have to say, the Cookies and Cream topping can get messy (that’s what I ordered, lol).
Each bar costs ₱220, and if you want an extra topping, it’s an additional ₱40.
This was after our dinner at Burnt Bean, so my tummy was extra happy that night, lol.

Bubu Ice Cream Scoop
Their ice cream costs ₱180 for a single scoop and ₱280 for a double scoop. You can choose the same flavor or try two different ones — of course, it’s better to mix things up if you’re already getting two scoops!
An additional topping costs ₱40.
I ordered Banana Biscoff Chunk and Strawberry Milkshake — I know, pretty unpredictable combo!
One of my friends ordered the same Banana Biscoff Chunk but paired it with Espresso — one got it in a cone, and the other in a cup.
Another friend ordered Butter Almond Crunch and Brown Sugar Caramel.
Look closely — they might look the same in photos, but they’re not!
This was the time we ate at Yoshi Hamburg, and we decided to grab dessert and chat at Bubu Bars while it was pouring rain outside.

Bubu Bars Ambiance
The door of Bubu Bars immediately grabs attention. It’s designed to look like a vending machine, making it a great photo spot.
When you enter, the place looks bright and lively with orange and white interiors.
However, the seating isn’t very homey. Inside, they have long bench-style seats with tables, as well as some high tables. There are also seats outside, but they don’t really make you want to hang out for long.
Well, that makes sense — after all, it’s not a coffee shop!
