I admit! I couldn’t go any farther for my food trips because Trinoma is the mall that is very convenient for me. However, when I starve, budget-wise I only go to fast food. Vanilla Cupcakes Bakery is the restaurant in TriNoma I see often but never tried to get in because it looks so fancy and pricey.
One day, my previous workmate Princess and I met for a reason and we decided to eat at Vanilla Cupcake because it was her workplace before. I really thought that Vanilla Cupcake only offer cupcakes so I didn’t want to dine there for I was looking for a heavy meal like pasta or rice. When we entered, I had that epiphany when I discovered that there are seats at the back of the counter where the diners have plates! God damn, this isn’t just a bakery but a café.
The place is so homey and colorful, and as I’ve told you, it’s really fancy. There are quotable quotes on the wall and an artificial rainbow cake at our front. We ordered at the counter and waited like a princess seating on our lovely couch.
The Garlic and Spinach Dip (P150) is an appetizer dish where baguettes are sliced thinly that comes with a delicious spinach dip.
The Garlic Beef Tapa (P 265) that is ordered by Princess tastes amazingly as well.
Meanwhile, I ordered Chicken Parmigiana with Pasta (P 195). Its pasta is Aglio Olio style. The chicken’s breadcrumbs are a bit sweet for me like I was eating carioca, but the sauce of the chicken is the great catch.
The serving is not as big as Banapple. The taste is good but I find it a bit pricey thinking of its serving that isn’t so enormous. Maybe, what we really paid here is the place because you won’t feel blue upon dining in – truly a go-to place when you’re down. There were just some flies present which is quite annoying, lol. I couldn’t say a bad thing about their service. So….
