Summer is back, and I wanted my mother and father to have some time to relax at the beach. We discovered Samba Bluewater Resort in Zambales during our family’s summer getaway last year. We passed by the resort, which is easily visible along the way. There are many beaches in Subic, Olongapo, but Samba Bluewater Resort caught my attention because there were people lined up — and it dawned on me that the best spots are often where the crowd is.

Fast forward to this year, I told my officemate that our family would be going to Subic, and they recommended Samba Bluewater Resort since it’s where the biggest Inflatable Island in Asia can be found — a partnership or perhaps owned by the same company. Truly, I can say we were meant to visit Samba Bluewater Resort in the Philippines.
Here’s the reception area. The beach admission fee is good for a 12-hour stay, and swimming time is only until 7 PM.

Verdict
To sum it all up, I highly recommend Samba Bluewater Resort if you’re looking for a resort in Subic with clean facilities, great amenities, a good crowd, plenty of water activities, and accommodating staff. It’s only 3 1/2 hours away from Quezon City, so getting there won’t take too much of your travel time. Plus, you can bring your own food and drinks without a corkage fee.
