Serving Filipinos for eight years, this seafood restaurant in Quezon City is always jam-packed — especially on weekends. Encouraged by the impressive crowd, my crazy colleagues and I decided to see what the restaurant had to offer, even though there was no receptionist available to assist us in getting a table. Don’t get me wrong — the receptionist wasn’t missing; she was simply assisting a group who arrived right before us.

Now, let’s talk about the food at Fish & Co.

Calamari P450.00

We ordered Calamari (you can choose to have it grilled or fried). We chose the fried option, but we were quite disappointed as it turned out to be too salty.

The Best Fish & Chips in Town! P435.00

This is Fish & Co.’s classic fish & chips, topped with a rich lemon butter sauce. While it was delicious, we felt the fish was cut too thin — or perhaps the breading was just too thick? Not sure.

Prawns Fettucine Creamy Mushroom Sauce P595.00

This pasta dish, topped with Alfredo sauce, prawns, and shiitake mushrooms, was definitely a thumbs up!

Chicken Pesto Quesadilly P290.00

This grilled flour tortilla was stuffed with grilled chicken — and what really amazed me was the pesto-flavored sauce! Both the quesadilla and nachos were tasty, but the nachos had unfortunately been exposed for too long, making them chewy instead of crunchy.

Jungle Freeze P275.00

We ordered the 1-liter pitcher, which gave each of us about 250 ml — roughly one cup. This drink was incredibly satisfying! Surprisingly, despite its white color, it contained pineapple juice. Cool, right? Turns out, the rambutan mixed in the drink explains its unique hue. Next time, I’d opt for the solo glass priced at ₱105.00, since the serving is bigger.

What’s truly remarkable about Fish & Co. is its lively atmosphere and friendly staff. Our total bill should have been over ₱1,500, but thanks to our Enjoy Lifestyle Card, we had ₱500 slashed off — a sweet deal indeed!
