Serving Filipinos for eight years, this seafood restaurant in Quezon City is always jam-packed—especially during weekends. Encouraged by the impressive crowd, my crazy colleagues decided to see what the restaurant has to offer even if there was no receptionist to help us get a table. Don’t get me wrong though, the receptionist was nowhere in sight because she assisted a group of people who came right before we did. Now let’s talk about the food of Fish & Co.

Calamari P450.00

We ordered Calamari (you can choose to have it grilled or fried). We chose to have ours fried, but we were quite disappointed because the dish was salty.

The Best Fish & Chips in Town! P435.00

This is the classic fish & chips of Fish & Co. topped with lemon butter sauce. It is delicious, but we thought the fish was cut too thin (or maybe the breading was just too thick? Dunno).

Prawns Fettucine Creamy Mushroom Sauce P595.00

The pasta was topped with Alfredo sauce, prawns, and shiitake mushrooms. This one is definitely a thumbs up!

Chicken Pesto Quesadilly P290.00

It is a grilled flour tortilla stuffed with grilled chicken as well. What I find the most amazing part of this Fish & Co.’s dish is that its sauce is pesto flavored! The quesadilla and the nachos are both yummy, but I guess the nachos were exposed for too long because they were chewy instead of crunchy.

Jungle Freeze P275.00

We chose the 1 liter pitcher because that would mean all four of us would each get a 250 ml share which is equal to 1 cup. This drink is truly a satisfying one. It actually has pineapple juice mixed in even if it’s white. Cool, eh? Well, I guess the rambutan mixed in the drink explains its color. Next time I dine here, I’d go for the solo glass priced at P105.00 since the serving is bigger.

What’s really remarkable about Fish & Co is its very lively environment and friendly staff as well. We should have paid P1,500+, but we had P500 slashed off the bill all thanks to our Enjoy Lifestyle Card!
