After watching Fast & Furious 7 on its first day, April 4, Cojie and I decided to eat at Wingstop because it is the one nearest in Cinema and the only opened restaurant in TriNoma. They have tables inside and outside and people are quite many. Maybe because it was Black Saturday (the very first time for the malls to open after holy week).

Flavors

Wingstop’s interior is nice, with an American-inspired vibe, but not as elegant as TGIF. On their walls, the flavors of their wings are written, including: Original Hot, Teriyaki, Louisiana Rub, Oriental Soy Pepper, Hickory Smoked BBQ, Mild, Lemon Pepper, Cajun, Atomic, Hawaiian, and Garlic Parmesan.

Boneless Chicken Bites

We ordered the 8 Boneless Chicken Bites, which cost P175. We were asked to choose two flavors and decided to try the Louisiana Rub and Lemon Pepper.

This restaurant in TriNoma serves chicken wings!

Chipotle Rice

We also ordered Chipotle rice for P45 each. After that, we were given a buzzer (like what is often used in milk tea stores) or whatever it is called.

Taste

To our surprise, the wings were tiny! Cojie thought the flavor would be inside the chicken, but it was only in the breadcrumbs. The flavors we chose were too salty for our liking, and considering that Louisiana Rub is their bestseller, I guess the restaurant leans toward a saltier profile. Cojie jokingly said that KFC’s chicken is better. Lol. However, their chipotle rice wasn’t bad. The issue was with how it was served—it was cramped, and the rice kept falling off the table every time I tried to take a bite.

Overall Experience

To sum it up, we were not impressed by the serving size and were disappointed with the taste. The price is reasonable, though, and the place has a nice ambiance. We were deceived by the beauty of the setting. The staff was nice and accommodating, even though the store was close to closing time.
