It does not always have to be a Friday night for friends to share good laughter. If you are looking for a place to enjoy good times any day whether with friends or family After All Bar & Grill is inclined to what you believe in. This newly opened restaurant that is located in SM Jazz Mall has the objective to serve good food, good music, and good laughter. Suffice to say that the name of the restaurant comes from the song, After All.

We, bloggers, were presented with a lot of craft cocktails that made our table very colorful. I did not get to taste all of the cocktails and never planned on trying it all anyway since I need to be sober to judge (lol) their food.

After All Cocktail Drinks

The drink I took is the Calibre (P150), it’s a Cuba Libre cocktail but infused with a salted sugar rim.

This is their newest cocktail, Poison Ivy. I’m not sure but I think this is a vodka concoction. The taste is perfect!

Get deceived with how a restaurant in SM Jazz served Poison Ivy

The Apple Yuki Matsuri is very light but the hint of apple is prevalent. It is inspired by the sapporo snow festival in Japan.

The Cara Java Daiquiri is a coffee frappe but with the hint of alcohol. I’m thinking it’s the Kahlua or Bailey’s.

These are the drinks I did not get to taste:

After All Food

Of course, the night out is not complete without food! The Romanian Devil Squid (P180) is seasoned with magical herbs I could say. It’s very flavorful!

This pan-grilled skewered cubes of wagyu beef, Saikoro Steak Skewers (P280), looks humble but after sliding out the beef to my mouth I just said, “wow!”.

Their Deep Fried Crispy Pata (P700) did not disappoint and it’s drool worthy. It has crunchy skin but with a flaky meat which made us easier to slice.

Worth the penny meal from a restaurant in SM Jazz. Try this Filipino favorite, deep fried crispy pata

This reminds me of Garlic Pork Leg Espagnole of Café Adriatico.

I love how the Tuna Salpicao (P290) is so chunky! It’s a little bit sour but I can still taste the tuna like it is freshly caught in the sea.

I also love how well they balance the flavors of the Seafood Teppanyaki (P390). It is vinegary but not overpowering.

The Tiger Prawn Tempura is juicy and crispy at the same time. It is also served with vegetable fritters.

The Waikiki Ribs (P450) is so tender and very bulky! The ribs itself is already delicious so I was just wondering why the sauce has to be salty.

There is something special about their cake because you will inject an alcohol into it yourself. The cake below is served with Jack Daniel’s.

The ambiance of the whole bar is less dim which made me think that After All is a bar and grill for all ages. As I have observed, the crowd is diverse. From yuppies, couples, foreigners, and even oldies, everyone is set to party! The bar area itself is making a contemporary statement with its colorful crystal glass wall. As I have tried their drinks and food, I can say that the price is pocket-friendly for a good food. From the bartender, servers, the restaurant managers, they are all accommodating and would make you feel home. As for the taste, I love how they would like to preserve the natural flavors of the food. I like all of it but as for the Waikiki, I hope the sauce is less salty.
